Our 2025 National Manufacturing Day celebration brought together industry partners, students, and community members for a day of learning and engagement. Attendees visited industry exhibitor tables, toured our lab spaces—including the 53-foot Georgia AIM Mobile Studio—and experienced hands-on technology demonstrations.
Agritech & AI Innovation Expo 2025 at Albany State University

Held on April 22, 2025, Earth Day, the expo brought together leaders in agriculture, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced manufacturing together to shape the future of workforce development and economic growth in rural Georgia.

UGA Celebrates National Manufacturing Day with Georgia AIM
In the pressNational Manufacturing Day, observed annually on the first Friday in October, highlights modern advancements in manufacturing across the country. This year, UGA’s Innovation Factory opened its doors and the Georgia Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing (AIM) unveiled its brand-new mobile studio at the Interdisciplinary Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (I-STEM) Research Complex.
